Role Overview

As an Advisor Marketing Specialist, you will partner with multiple advisor teams. You will become their primary marketing contact and help them develop campaigns, content, and growth strategies. You will use your marketing skills to support events, create digital campaigns, and produce materials that reflect each advisor’s brand.

This role gives you space to use your creativity. You will work with consultants, internal marketing groups, and advisors to make sure each campaign is delivered with accuracy and purpose.

Most tasks involve project management, campaign execution, relationship building, and content support. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. You will guide teams with confidence and offer proactive recommendations.

Primary Job Functions

Strategic Support for Advisor Teams

You will work with eight assigned advisor teams and serve as their daily marketing lead. You will learn how each team works, who they serve, and what their goals are. This helps you create marketing plans that reflect each team’s strengths.

You will also organize planning sessions to understand upcoming goals or challenges. These conversations will help you recommend the right marketing initiatives. Your guidance will align with advisor needs, while still supporting regional and company priorities.

You will partner closely with Advisor Marketing Consultants to ensure that the team plans match major strategic goals. Many advisors focus heavily on events, so event coordination will be a key part of your work. This may include in-person events, webinars, client sessions, or local community activities.

You will also use the Advisor Marketing Platform to align team plans with corporate programs. You will help teams choose the right content and ensure they follow brand standards.

Your work will involve navigating Salesforce to run reports, view dashboards, check client data, and track budgets. You will also create campaigns and share insights from the data you collect.

Campaign Execution and Innovation

You will support advisor teams by creating, customizing, and executing marketing campaigns. You will work with tools such as:

  • FMG Suite
  • Canva
  • Wistia
  • Wrike
  • Salesforce

These tools will help you produce digital content, social posts, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. You will ensure that all content is brand-aligned and delivered on schedule.

Collaboration with internal departments is important. You will work with Creative, Brand, Web, and Compliance teams to secure approvals and execute campaigns. You will also coordinate any vendor interactions, such as printing partners or event suppliers.

You will track campaign results, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements. Sharing these insights helps advisor teams understand what works and how to strengthen future efforts.

You will also use AI tools to support content creation. These tools can help improve workflows, generate new ideas, and streamline repeated tasks. Your ability to adapt to new technology will help drive continuous improvement.

Communication and Collaboration

Building strong relationships is essential to success in this role. You will work closely with financial advisors and the broader advisor marketing team. Each advisor team will rely on your expertise to guide marketing plans. You will also share best practices and success stories to help teams learn from each other.

You will keep internal partners informed about ongoing campaigns. You will highlight challenges, share updates, and provide advisor feedback when needed. Clear communication helps ensure alignment across teams.

You will support advisors by explaining marketing tools, collateral, and recommendations. This helps them understand how each campaign supports the client journey and prospect pipeline.

You will also keep up with relevant trends and bring new ideas to your advisor teams. This will help them stay competitive in a fast-changing digital environment.

Organic Growth Team Collaboration

You will be part of the Organic Growth Team and will contribute to group sessions, creative brainstorming, and campaign showcases. You will help design new templates, tools, and marketing frameworks that can be used across the company.

Your ability to identify effective ideas will help scale successful campaigns. You will also support team initiatives beyond your daily responsibilities.
