Key Responsibilities

✔ Implement and optimize local and national SEO strategies (mainly for Plumbing & HVAC clients).
✔ Analyze rankings, traffic, and conversion data to develop actionable recommendations.
✔ Manage and mentor junior SEO specialists to ensure accurate and timely execution.
✔ Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to implement solutions.
✔ Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits to uncover opportunities.
✔ Collaborate with the Head of SEO to enhance workflows, systems, and templates.
✔ Coordinate with content creators and web teams to ensure alignment with SEO standards.
✔ Monitor Google algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
✔ Maintain dashboards and client reports via Looker Studio.
✔ Oversee on-page optimization, internal linking, and local SEO tasks (including GBP management).
✔ Support training and onboarding initiatives as the SEO team expands.

What You Bring

✔ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
✔ Strong background in home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing—preferred)
✔ Advanced understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
✔ Ability to analyze data and convert insights into clear recommendations
✔ Excellent communication and team management skills
✔ Strong command of Local SEO and Google Business Profile ranking factors
✔ Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently

Salary Range

$65K – $85K

What’s the internal pay range?

The internal pay range for this role is exactly $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience and performance.
