Job Description
This role is ideal for someone who can turn business needs into clear, useful learning programs. You will support teams across Customer Success, Sales, Alliances, and Services. You will also own the Sales and Adoption methodology for field teams. The work you do will shape how teams learn, grow, and perform inside Guidewire.
Your mission is simple. Build learning experiences that help teams work better and faster. Create structured onboarding, clear competency paths, and training programs that support real business goals. This role offers the chance to lead enterprise-wide programs that make a measurable difference.
Below is a detailed breakdown of responsibilities, requirements, and what to expect.
About the Role
You will be the owner of key learning and enablement programs. These include role onboarding, training plans, methodology rollouts, and skills development across several personas. You will make sure that every new hire or newly assigned team member becomes proficient within their first six months.
The Enterprise Readiness Team plays an important role in the organization. It supports customers, partners, and internal employees by aligning communication, training, and learning experiences. Your contribution will help strengthen this strategy.
You will also manage the Sales and Adoption methodology. This includes the Challenger model or any similar framework chosen for the field organization. You will ensure that methodology training fits into new hire onboarding and ongoing learning for all field roles.
This role requires someone who can take ownership, make decisions based on data, and work closely with cross-functional partners.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Programs
You will lead the onboarding program for Customer Success roles. This includes Customer Success Managers, Client Partners, Operational roles, and Alliances. Your goal is to make sure all programs are simple, effective, and aligned with real job demands.
You will design and maintain self-study curricula for each role. You will track progress and measure readiness at the six-month mark. This helps ensure each employee becomes productive within a reasonable time.
Program Maintenance
Learning programs must stay updated. You will review them regularly and refresh training content based on new business needs. New content must be loaded into the learning management system. Changes must also be shared with leaders and program owners so everyone stays aligned.
Course Enrollment and Coordination
You will make sure your new hires are enrolled in the correct onboarding or certification programs. You will also collect feedback and use it to improve future program cycles.
Sales & Adoption Methodology Ownership
You will manage training for the Sales and Adoption methodology. This applies to all field teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Alliances, and Services. You will run learning events, recertification cycles, and skill assessments.
Role-Based Skill Development
Sometimes teams need custom training. You will create ad-hoc role-based or function-based programs to help boost skills where needed. You will partner closely with the Sales and Adoption Business Partner to keep everything consistent.
Readiness Project Management
You will handle project planning, needs assessment, content creation, and stakeholder reviews. You will also select the best format for each program: live training, virtual sessions, self-serve options, or tool guides.
All programs must follow the readiness methodology. This includes planning, content sign-off, and performance measurement.
Field Event Enablement
You will help plan and deliver ongoing training for field events. Examples include regional kickoffs, sales reviews, and other in-person gatherings.
Tracking and Analytics
Your success will be measured with real data. You will track completion rates, usefulness scores, business outcomes, and new hire readiness. These metrics help show the impact of your work.
Support for Future Readiness Strategy
You will assist in shifting the organization from push-style learning to a more modern pull-style approach. AI-powered content delivery will play a big role in this transition.
